John

A friend of mine called John died last Sunday. I found out on Tuesday at work and my colleagues coped brilliantly with me getting upset. Better than housegroup did on Wednesday, which is quite traumatic in itself!

I'm going on holiday next week to Manchester & Blackpool so I won't be able to attend the funeral but it will be so nice to get away! I really need a break.

Average Joe

Watched "Average Joe" last night after a very exciting episode of BB. That Ahmed is just so bad. I guess Michelle is quite sweet but she bugs me too, I wish she'd stop being so annoying with Stuart.

Anyway, the girl on "Average" Joe was so funny - her face when all these 'average' blokes came out of the bus was so funny! She was absolutely horrified! Some of those guys are just dreadful but some are actually quite cute & like the voiceover said most of them have really good jobs. Let's see what happens.

Books

My mate from work has lent me a book by Danny Wallace called "Join Me". It's fab. Really easy to read & very funny. It's the true story of a man who started a cult by accident.

Tennis

I just thought I'd moan about the fact that Wimbledon is over. What am I supposed to do for the next 50 weeks? It was a good final though. I thought that Roddick could have done it if the second rain break hadn't happened! What do you think?
